Latest reviews of Vaccines Tracker Lite app for iPhone and iPad
Loaded okay, with ads at the bottom that blocked view. Said you could load new or different vaccines, but if you did they didnt show up in your childrens file
The MCV4 vaccine is not currently routinely recommended for children under age 11 and this app says it is. (see CDC and ACIP recs) . This app doesnt appear to note that kids 6mos-7 yrs need 2 flu vaccines their first year. Nor does it seem to note that there are 2 rotavirus vaccines available: one requires 2 doses, the other requires 3 doses. Oh well , I was hoping this one might be it. Nope.
Not accurate as others have already pointed out. Also, it says it will display detailed info about each vaccine, if it does, it must be hidden very well. I cannot find any details at all other than the vaccine name which can be changed when selected.
